The Canadian Alliance on Mental Illness and Mental Health (CAMIMH) aims to raise awareness of Mental Health and Mental Illness across the country during Mental Illness Awareness Week, the first week of October.
This is an excellent opportunity to reflect on how to make our workplaces more accessible and supportive for people experiencing mental health challenges.
This is also an excellent opportunity to reflect on our own mental health and what we are doing to support our own well being. The link between poorly managed stress and illness is well document, both physical and mental illness.
