I was one of a number of attendees at the #sandbox hosted session of Spark Vol 1 XcellerateHER, sponsored by #bmo and #grantthornton. The outstanding key note speaker Samra Zafar provided a number of copies of her book “A Good Wife” for draw prizes and I was one of the fortunate few to win a copy! Thank you #samrazafar She shared a powerful presentation that filled us with awe and inspiration. There were several other speakers for breakout sessions that were all wonderful and informative sharing their knowledge and support.
Being an entrepreneur is a very stressful, lonely, and isolating experience. The majority of new entrepreneurs are women. Sessions such as the XcellerateHER series are a valuable resource to support the business and the mental well being of women in business.
